Customer service is our first priority. Our motto is simple: Treat our customers as we would want to be treated as customers.
As with any relationship, we believe communication is key. We notify you as soon as we receive your jewelry along with an idea of time frame, we update you on our progress as we are working on your jewelry, and then notify you when we’re done along with any important notes along the way such as additional work needed or not needed. We want you to feel comfortable with our company handling your jewelry and believe that constant communication is necessary in building that relationship.
We provide an estimate of costs so there’s no surprises at the end. We’re business people on a budget, too, and we hate being caught off guard by an unforeseen high bill. We work hard to not only provide an estimate, but to stay within that estimate as closely as possible. We notify you if there’s any additional costs for your approval before doing the work – leaving the choice up to you.
Repairs are all we do so our turnaround time is very reasonable. Depending on circumstances, we are running about 2 weeks or less for your jewels to be completed. Of course this varies from time to time, but we strive to keep the turnaround time as short as possible...
Packaging is important. We want your jewels to return to you as beautiful and as intact as when they leave here. Therefore, we take very special care in packing your jewels to ensure little to no breakage. Of course, we cannot promise there won’t be an accident here and there because of the mail system, but we use bubble wrap, tissue paper, and jewelry boxes to wrap everything in to minimize the risk.
Because our sister company (quite literally!) is Pretty Snazzy, and Stefanie Brawner is my sister, I have access to her incredible inventory of stones…over 3 million! This means we can do most repairs including some that require unusual stones. I also have access to her 15+ years of experience in the vintage costume jewelry industry, which is invaluable when I need a second opinion!
The services we offer are extensive from one or two stone replacements to complete restorations. We offer re-stoning, restringing, and re-enameling. I’ve been painting for over 15 years on small objects such as jewelry. We hand-mix all colors to ensure the most accurate reproduction of color and top coat it so that it is protected for many years to come. We also offer some simple soldering, and mechanical/finding fixes. If you don’t see a service you need, just email us and ask!
